Gold Sea Cucumbers are exceptional sand bed cleaners and one of the most beneficial cleanup crew members for reef aquariums. These fascinating invertebrates continuously sift through substrate, consuming detritus, uneaten food, and organic waste while aerating the sand bed and preventing dangerous anaerobic pockets from forming.

Care Requirements:
- Temperature: 72-78°F
- Salinity: 1.023-1.025
- pH: 8.1-8.4
- Requires established sand bed (at least 2-3 inches deep) for natural feeding behavior
- Stable water parameters and low nitrate levels
- Ensure adequate food source - supplement if sand bed is very clean
Important Notes: Sea cucumbers are sensitive to sudden water parameter changes and require slow, careful acclimation. They should never be exposed to air. In rare cases of extreme stress, they may release toxins, so maintain stable conditions and handle with care.
Tank Size: Minimum 30 gallons with established sand bed.
