Banded Striped Angel

Omnivore: marine algae, sponge-based angelfish foods, mysis and quality frozen foods. Feed small portions 1–2 times a day and rotate foods for a balanced diet.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 125 gal. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Use caution in reef tanks; most angelfish nip at corals and clam mantles. Semi-aggressive; add last to an established tank.

Adult size depends on the exact species; plan for a large angelfish.
