Bubble Anemone - Chicago Sunburst

Photosynthetic: gets most of its energy from light. Target-feed small pieces of mysis, krill or silverside 1–2 times a week.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.024–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Keep copper and most fish medications out of the tank; they are toxic to invertebrates. Min tank: 30 gal. Needs moderate to high lighting and a stable, mature tank (6+ months). May move until it finds a spot it likes; cover pump intakes. Drip acclimate over 45–60 minutes; inverts are sensitive to fast salinity changes.

Reef safe with caution; may wander and sting corals it touches. Hosts many clownfish species. Keep only one anemone species per tank.

Grows to about 12 in across.
