Dusky Jawfish

Carnivore: mysis and frozen foods. Feed small portions 1–2 times a day and rotate foods for a balanced diet.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 30 gal. Digs burrows in sand and rubble. Needs a deep sand/rubble bed and a tight lid. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Reef safe with caution; may eat very small shrimp.

Adults reach about 4 in.
