Feeds on coral polyps in the wild and can be hard to feed. Offer mysis, enriched frozen foods and fresh clam on the half shell. Feed small portions 2–3 times a day.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 75 gal. Eats coral polyps in the wild; can be hard to feed. Best for experienced keepers. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.
