Herbivore: algae, nori and herbivore pellets. Offer algae or nori daily and supplement with herbivore pellets. Add a small meaty feeding a few times a week.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 125 gal. Venomous dorsal spines; handle with care. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Reef safe with caution; may nip soft corals, zoanthids and clams.
