Omnivore: sponge-based angelfish diet, algae and meaty foods. Feed small portions 1–2 times a day and rotate foods for a balanced diet.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 180+ gal as an adult. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Not reef safe (nips corals and eats sessile inverts).

Sold as a juvenile; reaches about 10 in as an adult.
