Feeds on live copepods and newly hatched brine shrimp. Needs a steady supply of live copepods. Most will not accept prepared foods; do not add to a new tank.

Temperature 72–78°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4. Keep water flow gentle. Minimum tank: 10-20 gal, species tank. Experienced keepers only. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Not for tanks with aggressive or fast-feeding fish.

About 1–1.5 in as an adult.
