Scavenger: leftover food and detritus. Target-feed small meaty foods weekly.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.024–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Keep copper and most fish medications out of the tank; they are toxic to invertebrates. Min tank: 30 gal. Hides in rockwork during the day. Drip acclimate over 45–60 minutes; inverts are sensitive to fast salinity changes.

Reef safe. Peaceful toward most tankmates.
