Carnivore: fish and crustaceans. Feed meaty foods every 2–3 days and avoid overfeeding. Offer variety such as shrimp, squid and fish pieces.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 100 gal. Needs a secure lid. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

Not safe with small fish and inverts.
