Zoster Butterflyfish

Plankton feeder: offer mysis, krill and frozen foods several times a day. Feed small portions 2–3 times a day; frequent feedings help keep weight on.

Temperature 75–80°F, salinity 1.023–1.026 SG, pH 8.1–8.4, alkalinity 8–12 dKH, nitrate under 20 ppm. Minimum tank: 125 gal. Acclimate slowly and quarantine before adding to a display tank.

One of the more reef-friendly butterflyfish, but may pick at some corals. Peaceful.

Adults reach about 7 in.
